About Dave

Dave is a versatile professional with a passion for caring for pets, both indoors and outdoors. His career journey has been diverse, spanning bartending, real estate, and IT engineering. However, amidst these varied roles, one constant remains: his unwavering love for animals.

Dave’s approach to pet care is unique. Rather than relying on traditional obedience training, he delves into pet psychology. Understanding the inner workings of our furry companions is crucial for motivating them and achieving desired behaviors.

But here’s where Dave truly shines: he emphasizes training not only the pets but also their owners. This dynamic duo—human and pet—presents both challenges and rewards. Each animal species requires specific care, training, and management techniques, and Dave navigates this expertly.

For Dave, every behavioral challenge is an opportunity for growth—for both pets and their owners. His dedication lies in making a meaningful impact in their lives.

As the owner of Daddy Wags, Dave cherishes spending his days with animals, sharing his love and passion for them. Whether it’s a playful kitten or a loyal outdoor companion, Dave’s commitment remains steadfast.

So, here’s to Dave—the consummate professional who follows his heart and finds purpose in working with animals. 🐾

I got Pojo when he was 6 months old right out of the pasture. He had never been touched by a person before I put his first halter on him. I trained him from there all the way to riding him for the first time. He became a solid, trusting boy who you could literally shoot a gun from. He never once bucked or had any issues because of his solid ground training.

This video shows me training a Red-Tailed hawk on how to come when called. You use a long line attached to a ground anchor when first starting (so they don't fly away with your equipment) I had also trained my horses to come when I whistled.

Sharon Shuler

Once upon a time, in the heart of Dallas, Texas, a spirited soul named Sharon came into this world. She grew up surrounded by the warm Texan sun, cowboy boots, and the comforting drawl of friendly neighbors. But life had bigger plans for her.

In 2017, Sharon packed her bags and embarked on a life-changing journey. Her destination? The rolling hills and wide-open skies of Oklahoma. Why? Well, Sharon craved adventure, fresh beginnings, and a canvas of picturesque landscapes to explore.

Now, let’s talk about Sharon’s secret superpower: photography. From the tender age of “I-can-barely-hold-a-camera,” she fell head over heels for capturing moments. Sunsets, dew-kissed flowers, and mischievous squirrels—they all found their way into her lens. Sharon believed that every click was a tiny piece of magic frozen in time.

But wait, there’s more! Sharon’s heart had a soft spot for furry creatures. It all started with Little Bit, the family’s trusty Dachshund. Little Bit’s wagging tail and soulful eyes ignited a lifelong love affair with animals. Sharon realized that these four-legged wonders had a special language—one of loyalty, trust, and unconditional love.

Now, picture this: Sharon spent years in the retail jungle, navigating price tags and folding T-shirts. But deep down, she knew her true calling awaited. One day, it hit her like a lightning bolt (the friendly, non-scary kind): animals were her jam! Dogs, cats, hamsters—she loved them all. Their fuzzy noses and playful antics melted her heart.

And so, Sharon made a pact with destiny. She vowed to dedicate her days to the creatures who couldn’t say “thank you” but showed it in sloppy kisses and cozy cuddles. She became an animal whisperer, a protector of paws, and a champion of wagging tails.

Fast forward to today. Sharon’s mission? To make a difference—one paw at a time. She dreams of a future where she’ll still be scooping kitty litter and tossing tennis balls even in her golden years. Retirement? Nah, she’d rather be surrounded by furballs, sharing stories of squirrel chases and midnight meows.

So, here’s to Sharon—the girl who followed her heart, found her purpose, and discovered that life is better with a wagging tail by your side. 🐾❤️
